Ruben Blades Performs Latin Jazz, Latin Pop Plus Salsa

Ruben Blades was born in Panama in Panama City in 1948. He has been deemed a songwriter, artist as well as an acting professional who also plays guitar and also performs vocals. Early Ages

Ruben Blades biological father was initially a Cuban celebrity, musician and pianist. His biological father, Ruben Dario Blades Sr. was first an sportsperson and played the percussion. His father later managed to graduate from the Federal Bureau of Narcotics in Washington DC in the US. Blades by his own had been musically associated with the group Los Salvejes de Ritmo during University. His original music mentors were Joe Cuba Sextet as well as artist Cheo Feliciano who he quite often attempted to copy. In 1974 after College he relocated together with his mother and father in Miami, Florida then he moved to NYC. Albums And Music

Recent Work

In the year 2004 he left the music industry so he could pay attention to his position as Minister of Tourism for Panama. When it was over in 2009 he reunited with Seis del Solar on a visit to The united states.
