Ohio Flights: Discovering The Ohio Way

By Dean Smith

Anyone thinking about catching Ohio flights is in for an excellent treat. With Ohio containing some of the best tourist spots in the country, catching a flight to this state is easy. In fact, this state has about one hundred seventy five airports open for the use of the public. Although all of them function though, there are some that are more popular than others.

A good example of this would be the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. This airport accommodates about twelve million passengers every year. The airport itself offers excellent facilities for the traveler such as wheelchair accessible restrooms, TTY phones, shops, ATM machines, restaurants, foreign currency exchange, lounges and even a chapel. It is being served by approximately eleven airlines.

Once you are in the state, there are lots of tourist destinations just waiting to be discovered. For those arriving in the state through Cleveland Hopkins, the best places to go include the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland Botanical Garden, Cleveland Metropark Zoo and more. For music fans out there, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is definitely the first place to visit and view vital elements in music culture such as the manuscript of Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix. Aside from regular exhibits, visitors will also find entertainment within the area as well as CD shop for those looking for souvenirs.

Of course, it is also possible to visit other cities through different airports. There is the Port Columbus International Airport which offers the same luxurious features as Cleveland Hopkins. There is even free internet access for passengers as well as restaurants and massage chairs and clean restrooms. The Port Columbus is serviced by ten airlines.

Columbus itself is an excellent tourist spot. Aside from the Columbus Museum of Art which contains works of Picasso and Monet, there is also the Ohio Village. This village provides an excellent window to the nineteenth century with an authentic environment and events that mirror those done in the past. For Columbus tourists, it would be a good idea to visit the city during one of these events.

Note that this state is home to dozens of cities. Hence, individuals can look forward to various tourist destinations located all over the state. Most cities also house airports including Warren, Akron, Toledo, New Philadelphia and Portsmouth. This way, travelers will have the chance to go to their favored city for vacation.

With Ohio flights being incredibly abundant nowadays, tourists will have no problem going to any part of the state. Should you decide to skip from one city to another, this is also possible. Just hire a car and start going from one tourist destination to another within Ohio.
